Did You Know? (Family Night Meals)

Did you know that every week, families and individuals from all walks of life gather right here in Branford and East Haven to share a warm meal, a craft, and a few good laughs — completely free of charge?

 

It’s true — and it’s all part of our Family Night Meals, held every Tuesday in Branford and every Wednesday in East Haven. These evenings have quickly become a cherished tradition for many in our community, offering more than just dinner — they offer connection, joy, and much-needed support.

 

Every Family Night Meal features free, nutritious meals for all families who attend — with to-go options available for those who may not be able to stay. And while food may be what brings people in, it’s the sense of togetherness that keeps them coming back.

 

Families can enjoy free children’s crafts at both locations, adding a fun, creative element for our youngest guests. And on the second Tuesday of each month in Branford, we also host a diaper distribution, providing an essential resource to families who need it most.

 

There’s something incredibly special about seeing neighbors — many of whom didn’t know each other before — enjoying a meal side by side, sharing stories, lending support, and creating a night of community amongst peers. These dinners are a reminder of what’s possible when we come together with open hearts.

 

Whether you're a family needing a night off from cooking, an individual looking for a hot meal, or someone just wanting to be part of something positive, you’re welcome here. No questions asked, no strings attached.
